Senior Lawyer (dispute resolution)

We are looking for a talented Lawyer to join our legal team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Performing research, data collection, analysis of legal matters, and providing clear and practically oriented advice;
• Performing legal risk assessment;
• Solving various legal problems and issues that the business faces in its day-to-day operations in various jurisdictions;
• Processing customers’ complaints;
• Participating in resolving disputes in various jurisdictions;
• Preparing documents for judicial and extrajudicial proceedings of disputes;
• Participating in court hearings;
• Engaging and cooperating with external legal counsels on matters related to foreign law;
• Participating in negotiations with counterparties;
• Ad hoc legal researching and internal advising upon business needs.

Essential professional experience:

• Leading Ukrainian university degree in Law;
• LLM with a foreign law school is a plus;
• Professional experience in dispute resolution and compliance of 6+ years;
• Work experience in international holdings and/or top-ranked law firms;
• Good research skills;
• Attorney License is a plus;
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian is a must;
• Good presentation, communication, analytical, and legal writing skills;
• Commercially practicable approach to legal tasks;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times;
• Strong organisational skills and experience of team management;
• Ability to manage a challenging workload even when under pressure.
