Middle QA Engineer

About your key responsibilities and impact:

• Analyzing and processing requirements;
• Designing and executing test cases;
• Performing comprehensive API testing on microservices, focusing on feature testing to verify functionality, and compatibility with other software components;
• Conducting feature and regression testing at various stages of the development lifecycle, ranging from initial business request to production rollout;
• Providing estimates, informing about obstacles, blockers as soon as possible;
• Coordinating with other team members to understand requirements and ensure smooth project execution;
• Taking part in release preparations (planning, re-testing, regression testing, deploy, post-deploy support).

Essential professional experience:

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in backend testing;
• Strong knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or similar;
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol and client-server architecture;
• Experience in creating test artifacts (manuals, checklists, test cases);
• Experience with Jira and TestRail systems (or similar);
• Fluent knowledge of the Ukrainian language;
• Upper-Intermediate+ English language.

Desirable skills and personal features:

• Experience in testing systems with the microservices architecture;
• Experience in investigating business incidents;
• Gathering and analyzing logs (e.g. Kibana);
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Git.
